The 2012 Olympic and Paralympic Games comes to London this July and it’s expected to be one of the largest events ever held in the UK.

Due to the high number of spectators and the popularity of the games, restrictions and security measures have been put in place which may cause some delays to deliveries and postal services between the dates of 16^th July until the end of the Paralympics on 9^th September 2012.

Deliveries outside of London

We want to reassure you that we will always do our best to get your order delivered as quickly as possible and if your delivery address is located outside of London it is unlikely that you will experience any disruption to your delivery service at all.

Deliveries to Greater London

Deliveries to locations found in Greater London will mostly be unaffected, but you may experience some delays if your address is located nearby Olympic venues, locked down security areas or the Olympic torch relay route.

Affected Delivery Areas

Various roads and areas of London will be locked down by Olympic security teams on a daily basis during the games for areas such as Olympic Venues, or event routes. Deliveries to these areas will be delayed due to the added security checks needed during the games.

Any Postcode within the E20 zone will be even more affected.

Olympic torch relay: Friday 19^th May – Friday 27^th July

Olympic Games: Friday 27^th July – Sunday 12^th August

Paralympic Games: Wednesday 29^th August – Sunday 9^th September
